Plot: O’Flynn, a soldier of fortune, returns to Ireland during the Napoleonic wars just in time to save Lady Benedetta from robbers. But the robbers pursue her to O’Flynn’s family castle. Benedetta carries secret papers which would reveal Napoleon’s plans to invade Ireland and O’Flynn helps here hide them.

EXILE:
Robert Thoeren (1903–1957) was a German screenwriter and film actor. He had leading roles in German-language films at Paramount in Europe. Following the Nazi rise to power in 1933 he went into exile, first in France, and later in the United States. He is best known for creating the story for the Marilyn Monroe film Some Like it Hot.

At least two exile actors played roles in the film. Otto Waldis (1901–1974), an Austrian actor of Jewish heritage who fled the Nazi regime and arrived in Birmingham, Alabama in June 1940. And, Ludwig Donath (1900–1967), an Austrian actor born to a Jewish family. He emigrated to the United States shortly after the 1938 Anschluss.
