London: William Stansby for Richard Whitakers, 1631. Folio. (36),941,(3)pp. Title printed in red & black. Text illustrated with a number of woodcuts and a few large copper engravings. Bound in modern dark brown morocco, period style, with blind rules and raised bands on the spine. Title a bit soiled, but a very clean copy.. The preliminaries contain Ben Jonson’s poem to Selden. The second edition was greatly enlarged over the first edition of 1614 which has the pagination (38),391,(43)pp. STC 22178.
