Cont. sheep, a bit warped and lightly scuffed, ornately gilt spines with calf labels. Head of spine Vol. III, a bit chipped. Vol. II with old dampstaining to early leaves. Vol. III front hinge cracked but holding. With the large (7″ x 5″) early 18th century bookplate of the Marchesi Romagnani in each volume, and the signature on each title page, “Romagnani de Virle, 1733.”
