Covers unevenly toned with smudges to front; minor edge wear; small tear to foot of spine. A manual that aims to help the layperson understand and cope with neuroses (neurasthenia, stuttering, hysteria, and split personality disorder) described in the book’s introduction as symptoms of the modern age. In the prologue, the author claims 20 years of clinical experience, though not much else is known about them, nor is this or any other work from this Argentine publisher located in OCLC at the time of cataloguing. Further, no other copies currently listed for sale.
