H.C. Artmann (1921–2000) was Austria’s most famous author of the latter half of the 20th century. He was prolific and much loved. This is a movie shooting script written by Artmann (adopted from a story by the 17th century Spanish playwright Lope de Vega). Set in 16th century Italy the story follows a cunning Casanova—who has never missed an orgy—in his efforts to swindle a lady’s riches and take them to Spain.
