Orig. mottled calf, nicely rebacked to style, old spine label laid down. With the cont. rubber stamp and signature of ​“Dr. R. Fuller.” First edition of the first important American textbook of ophthalmology. Frick (1793–1870) a Baltimore physician was also the first American M.D. to restrict his practice to Ophthalmology.
