Inscribed by Frank to his American publisher Felix Guggenheim in German with Christmas greetings 1942. With illustrations by Adolf von Menzel and a foreword by Sinclair Lewis. Very good.
Bruno Frank (1887–1945) was a German author, poet and screenwriter. In this book Frank portrays Frederick the Great both with greatness and vulgarity, much to the dismay of many Germans.
