Ernst Kantorowitcz (1895–1963) was a medievalist and German exile historian. He was closely associated with the culturally conservative George-Kreis and is well known for his 1927 book on Emperor Frederick II, which is also the subject of this pamphlet. Documents inscribed by Kantorowitcz are scarce in the trade.
