An attractive copy, signed by the publisher on the verso of the title page to ward against counterfeit copies. The third and “best” edition of this French natural history school book, with the addition of the numerous plates. The 1st edition of 1794 was 444 pages, the 2nd of 1797, 563 pages and our 3rd further expanded to 680 pages.
