Inscribed by Marta Feuchtwanger (1891–1987) to her husband Lion’s literary agent Felix Guggenheim in German: “For Felix and Evelyn Guggenheim, with good wishes. Marta Feuchtwanger. on March 30, 1987(?).” (trans.) Near fine with slight blemishes to dust jacket.

Lion Feuchtwanger (1884–1958) was a German Jewish novelist and playwright best known for his work Jud Süß. This book is a historical romance based on the life of Margaretha, Countess of Tyrol in the 14th century.
