Alfred Neumann (1895–1952) was a German author. In this scarce mimeographed publication, intended for use on stage, he wrote a story of “marriage by competition” in which a father established a complex set of games to win the hand of his daughter. It’s based on the story by Italian Playwright Carlo Goldoni (1707–1793).
